Dear parents/guardians,
First of all happy new year to you all. I hope you had a lovely, relaxing Christmas break!
It is hard to imagine that we are here again in the same situation as we found ourselves last March.
Hopefully this lockdown won’t last too long and that we will be back in the classroom again at the
start of next month.
In preparation of this event happening all the children in the class were given login details for online
learning at the start of the school year. Their Google classroom login details can be found written
into their personal details page at the start of their homework journals. The IXL login details were
also stuck into their homework journals.
Remote learning will begin on Monday 11 th and I hope everyone will engage in this process. I
understand that this is a difficult time and some children find it hard to get motivated when it comes
to online learning but I would encourage everyone to try their best. If you have any issues you would

Children who do not have their books at home will be contacted about getting them from the
school.
It is very important now that we follow government guidelines and do what we can to get back into
the classroom as soon as we can.
So with that in mind, stay safe everyone and I will be in contact with you on Google classroom.
