Letter from 2nd class teachers

20th Apr 2020

Hello 2nd class students,

We hope you are keeping well and staying safe at home. Hope everyone enjoyed their Easter break and ate lots of chocolate.

In your work packs that you have at home, you can continue with the work that we have planned for you this week, Monday 20th – Friday 24th April. If you are finding it difficult to get through all of this work- that’s OK!! Do as much as you can and if you are finding a piece too difficult, maybe ask somebody at home for some help and then move on. We are always here to answer any emails and we are delighted with some of the beautiful pictures, letters and work that has been photographed and sent onto us.

HUGE well done to all those who have been spending time on IXL- fantastic work! On IXL this week, if you get time, have a look at SUBTRACTION H.4 and H.5. (Don’t forgot to regroup if the number on top is smaller).

Parents-If you wish to do some preparation work for this subtraction on IXL, you can also go back to the previous class level.

Also well done to so many who have been working on the IXL English programme- Please keep up the great work and focus on verbs and adjectives for the next 2 weeks.

Don’t forget to revise some of your prayers before going to bed at night or maybe when sitting out in your garden. If you forget some of them- you can type the name of the prayer into google and this will help you to remember. (Our Father, Hail Mary, Act of Sorrow, Prayer before/after meals).

We are both missing you very much and hope that we will get to see you very soon.

Mrs. Fitzgerald
