Come Farm With Me – Agri Aware
Over the past six weeks, 4th Class have been taking part in Agri Aware’s Come Farm With Me programme, learning about life on Irish farms through weekly videos from real farmers across the country. The programme finished with a brilliant live webinar where the children got the chance to ask questions directly to the farmers who featured in the series.
To mark the occasion, the class arrived dressed as farmers themselves, flat caps, wellies, overalls and all, adding great fun to the morning. After the webinar, the room was full of energy as the learners enjoyed a bit of line dancing to round off the experience.
It was a fantastic programme for helping the children understand the work that goes into Irish farming, and they thoroughly enjoyed being part of it.
