Ms O' Mahoney's 2nd class were busy learning all about Science Week! We experimented with 'skittles' sweets and water to demonstrate the way water can alter the colours on the sweets and make amazing patterns. Each group worked together to make their own pattern.
We also learned about alkali and base materials which can cause a 'volcanic' eruption. We made a clay base for our volcano, decorated by Lola, and everybody had a turn to help with the experiment. We had lots of fun!
