Third Class recently enjoyed a fascinating trip to The Main Guard in Clonmel, where they explored the rich history of this iconic 17th-century courthouse. The pupils were captivated by the stories of the past and had the opportunity to see historical artifacts up close. A special thank you to our wonderful tour guide, Fiona, whose engaging storytelling and deep knowledge made the experience both educational and fun. It was a memorable day that brought history to life for our young learners! While we were there, Ms. Hannafin took the class down to the West Gate in Irishtown and Old St. Mary's Cemetery where we saw the history of Clonmel in all its glory.
