Chess
The art of chess playing is taught to children in 5th class. Parents are invited to join in with their child for in-class sessions. The children regularly partake in school-based chess tournaments. Every year, we put forward teams from 5th and 6th Class to compete in the Ficheall Inter-schools Chess Tournament which takes place locally.
