Today, Mrs. Kiely's class and Mr. Murphy's class put their chess knowledge to the test as they took part in a local chess tournament. As chess fever spreads through the school, this was a great reward for the many hours of practice that these children dedicated to the game. It was a fantastic learning experience as all got the opportunity to play against children from other schools.
