Letter from 1st class teachers
Hello 1st class
I hope you are all doing well. We still cannot go back to school so you can start week 3 of your work packs now dated 27th April – 1st May. Imagine Summer is almost here!
In your skills book there is a recipe on how to make pizza. I love pizza, do you? Write out your favourite toppings for a pizza. Maybe you could do a daily diary of your favourite food for us. Write down your favourite breakfast, lunch and dinner and draw a picture of each of them. I’m feeling hungry now!!
This week maybe you could find something in your kitchen that weighs 1 kilogramme (a bag of rice/pasta/flour). Now can you name 10 things that weigh less than 1 kg and 10 things that weigh more than 1 kg (it doesn’t have to be food, it could be animals or vehicles!!). Write them down and get somebody to check!
We are checking into Studyladder and IXL every day and are delighted with the work some of you are doing – keep it up! If you haven’t logged in yet, you still can, it’s fun to do work on technology!
The weather has been great so make sure you get out in the garden playing and exercising. Keep helping with the jobs at home – you are all doing great.
Keep washing your hands and stay at home and hopefully we will see you soon.
