Letter from 1st class teachers
Good morning 1st class!
We hope you all had a good week. Thankfully the weather has been really nice so we hope you got outside to play as much as you possibly could!
You will have finished your workpacks by now and I’m sure you are all anxious to get more!! Well the good news is they are ready for you today Monday 18th! They can be collected at the school gate (same as before) between 10.30 and 11am. Remember you can bring back any of the work you have done before for us to check – we would be delighted to see all your hard work!
You can start Week 6 (18th – 22nd May) once you get your packs. You will see that we have also given out the rest of your school books and have added in pages from these to do during the week. Remember do what you can. Sometimes it can be hard to work at home but we know from talking to your parents that you are all doing really well and trying your best, so well done!
This week we are doing a little bit about “Pets”. Pets are so important and are like members of the family. Why not write 5 lines about your pet and draw a picture for us? If you don’t have a pet, maybe you could write about a pet you would like or that your cousins have? It is also really important to care properly for our pets. Can you write 5 ways in which we can care for our pets? Enjoy the wordsearch and dot to dot pages we have given this week.
We have also given out your “Grow in Love” book, you could ask your parents to read the “At home” section with you and do 2 pages a week in your workbooks.
Keep up the great work you are doing on Studyladder and IXL and remember you can login at anytime!! Don’t forget you can contact us or send us pictures of your work on clarkin@stoliversclonmel.ie or alyons@stoliversclonmel.ie
Stay safe everyone and don’t forget to check into the website for our message every Monday and also for other little bits!
